Overview
I’m Alex and I worked in intelligence, dealing with radiofrequency waves, demodulation and analysis of signals which inevitably leads to bit analysis and some packet analysis thrown in. During that time I picked up some programming to automate some extremely menial and time-consuming tasks that are still in use to this day.
After that, tenure made me move to a different section where we had to deal with pattern of life analysis of radars. I made some use of my programming experience again and automated the dataset pulling and analysis of the data to uncover interesting patterns.
Currently, operating a systems administrator/engineer for some missile company that has exposed me to enterprise level infrastructure and I’ve made quite a few improvements in certain key processes that are in use. As well, I’m still practicing and open to future roles in cybersecurity.
